The heart of the story remains unchanged—Lilo finds and adopts what she believes to be a stray dog, only to discover he’s actually Experiment 626, a destructive alien fugitive named Stitch. The film is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, known for Marcel the Shell with Shoes On. The voice of Stitch is once again provided by Chris Sanders, who originally created the character’s distinctive speech patterns in the animated version.
